Gonzaba Medical Group’s founder William Gonzaba M.D. started his family practice in 1960 on South Flores Street, not far from the neighborhood where he was born and raised. In the early 1980’s, he began to expand his practice and moved to the main office at 720 Pleasanton Rd. He currently has five Family Practice Clinics and three Urgent Care Centers that provide quality medical care to the local community. His son Dr. William “Tom” Gonzaba, a Board Certified Emergency Physician, is the Medical Director for the Gonzaba Urgent Care Centers. He was trained and practiced at one of the nation’s most active Emergency Care and Trauma centers. GMG Urgent Care Centers are the first and currently only stand-alone Urgent Care Centers in San Antonio to be accredited by the industry standard medical quality assurance organization “The Joint Commission.” We provide industry leading advance urgent care services to San Antonio with accredited radiological service to help maximize quality diagnosis and treatment. Dr. Gonzaba strives for affordable quality care with state of the art treatment facilities and staff that are well trained and striving for the mission of “providing convenient, affordable, quality healthcare to all our patients and the communities we serve.”
